Glenna Morrison

Although Glenna comes from the very north of Scotland, she has worked extensively in English roles, the BBC’s Casanova being just one. The film Hearing Things in which she had the lead role, won Best Film at the Moondance Festival in 2008. Her experience encompasses improvised comedy and situation comedy and although for some time Glenna has largely appeared on screen, she is equally versatile in theatre drama. She toured the UK and Ireland in a hugely successful 4 hander version of Trainspotting. Selected review quotes are:
“Glenna Morrison is outstanding as Alison, the only female member (of the group).” Irish Independent
“The strongest performance was by Glenna Morrison, who played heroin addict Alison and just about every other woman in the play.” Evening Telegraph
“Glenna Morrison is stunning.” Evening Chronicle
“The performance of Glenna Morrison as Alison silences the crowd and makes them burst spontaneously into applause in the middle of a scene.” Cork Examiner
